New York Moves Magazine
Camila Hori worked as an Art Director for New York Moves from 2004 to 2006. She was responsible for a complete redesign of the magazine and helped create a strong and unique aesthetics as well as build a team of contributors. During the two years Camila worked at New York Moves the magazine increased its sales by fifty percent.

REDESIGN
The cover redesign started with the implementation of a new logo and new typeface. Another major change was the use of color in the magazine cover. Before the redesign all covers were done in black and white with a casual look and feel. The new visual guideline elevated the look of magazine to a more fashion oriented aesthetics.

Beauty pages
The beauty section before the redesign showcased seasonal products without any strong concept behind. With the redesign the beauty pages gained a different voice, with a strong concept every month.

Trends pages
The redesign of the Trend section sought to highlight the products without taking a simplistic photographic approach. The emphasis was put in one hero shot that should immediately showcase not only the key item as well as evoke the season and the fashion mindset of the moment.

Restaurant & Bar pages
The restaurants review pages were text heavy and without a lot of personality. The new visual guideline utilized full images to draw the reader in.
